Our Review Methodology

GolfLaunchLab reviews are research-and-analysis reviews. We don't claim lab conditions we don't have; what we do is aggregate and cross-check every credible source on a product, then say plainly what the evidence supports. Here's exactly how that works.

What Goes Into Every Review

Verified manufacturer specifications. Every spec we print is checked against the manufacturer's published documentation, not copied from other reviews. Where a manufacturer's own materials are ambiguous or contradictory, we say so rather than print a number we can't confirm.

Clearly attributed owner reports. We look for recurring observations in owner communities and verified-purchase reviews, then distinguish that anecdotal evidence from manufacturer specifications and measured third-party tests. We do not copy or combine other websites' star ratings.

Published independent testing. Where outlets with genuine testing protocols (MyGolfSpy, Plugged In Golf, and others) have published measured data, we cite it and name the source. We never present someone else's testing as our own.

Live price and availability verification. Prices and stock are checked against live listings on the date noted in each review, because a recommendation for an out-of-stock or repriced product helps nobody.

Editorial Recommendations

Our current research-only reviews use fit-based verdicts instead of numeric product ratings. We compare documented capabilities, space requirements, software costs, portability, price, and the strength of the available evidence. GolfLaunchLab will publish a numeric rating only when it has a documented, genuine experience basis and a repeatable testing protocol.

Honesty Rules We Hold Ourselves To

We label every review with how it was produced. We attribute measured claims to their sources. We flag when a product is discontinued, repriced, or superseded. And when we get something wrong, we correct the page and update its modified date rather than quietly hoping nobody noticed.

Independence

No manufacturer provides units, payment, or perks in exchange for coverage, and no manufacturer has any input into our recommendations, rankings, or editorial content. Some links are affiliate links that earn us a small commission at no cost to you; that never affects what we recommend, and we say so on every page where they appear.
