A floor unit that sits beside the ball against a ceiling-mounted camera system, compared on what each manufacturer actually publishes. Start with the fact that changes the decision: SkyTrak's own page now lists the ST+ as no longer available.
These two were never really competing for the same buyer, and as of our July 2026 check they are not competing for the same shopping cart either. SkyTrak's own ST+ product page states that the unit is no longer available, while still displaying a sale price around $2,000 marked down from about $3,000. If you want a new SkyTrak floor unit today, the model SkyTrak actually sells is the ST MAX at $1,995 on sale from $2,995.
The Uneekor EYE XO2 is a current product, sold on Uneekor's site as the AI Studio bundle at $10,999. It is a ceiling-mounted infrared camera system with 24 published ball and club parameters, and it asks for a dedicated room: Uneekor's stated minimum is 13 feet wide by 16 feet deep with a 10-foot ceiling.
So the useful question is not which one is more accurate. It is which build you are doing. A floor unit you can set up in a shared garage bay is a different project from a permanent overhead install, and I am not going to tell you which one measures better, because we have not run them side by side.
Availability Decides This One First
Start here, because it saves you reading the rest if you were planning to buy an ST+ new.
SkyTrak's product page for the ST+ carries the line "This launch monitor is no longer available." The page still shows a sale price around $2,000 against a regular price near $3,000, which is a confusing combination, but the availability statement is the operative one. Any ST+ listing you find now is therefore a third-party or used offer rather than a current order from SkyTrak; confirm its condition, warranty, and support status with the seller.
That current model is the ST MAX, listed at $1,995 on sale from $2,995 on SkyTrak's own store. It carries the same sensor description and the same published data list as the ST+, which we break down below. If you specifically want ST+ hardware, remaining third-party listings do exist: check current ST+ stock and pricing on Amazon, and treat whatever you see there as a marketplace price rather than a SkyTrak one.
The EYE XO2 is a current product. Uneekor's page flags "Limited Availability" on the AI Studio bundle and states a 2-year warranty.
How Each One Actually Measures
The SkyTrak ST+ is a hybrid unit. SkyTrak describes a dual Doppler radar and photometric camera system, with radar handling club measurements and high-speed cameras handling ball tracking. The ST MAX carries the same dual-radar-plus-camera description.
The EYE XO2 is the camera-first design here. Uneekor describes high-speed infrared cameras paired with Dimple Optix technology. No special ball markings are needed for ball data, but reflective stickers are required on the clubface for club data.
What that architecture difference means for you is practical rather than a quality ranking. The overhead camera sits ahead of and above the hitter, so nothing occupies floor space and a right-hander and a left-hander can swap without moving hardware. The floor unit sits beside the ball, which makes it portable and tolerant of odd rooms, at the cost of a box near your hitting area. Whether one produces better numbers than the other in your bay is exactly the sort of claim that needs a controlled side-by-side test, and we have not run one.

SkyTrak lists 14 fields across ball and club data. A longer list is not automatically better: the EYE XO2's additional fields concentrate on club delivery and flight modelling, which matters more for impact-location and dynamic-loft work than for basic carry and dispersion checks.
Neither list tells you how closely either unit tracks a reference machine on your shots. That is a measurement question, and neither maker publishes a comparable tolerance you could line up against the other.
Room Commitment
This is the biggest practical difference between the two, and the one buyers underestimate.
Uneekor publishes a minimum for the EYE XO2: 13 feet wide by 16 feet deep by 10 feet high, with the 10-foot ceiling described as a minimum recommendation. The fixed hitting zone is 21 inches by 28 inches, generous enough that ball placement stops being a per-shot thought. The install is the real commitment: ceiling mounting, cabling, and a room you are not planning to repurpose. It is an indoor system.
For SkyTrak, our space requirements database records a 17-foot recommended room depth with a 9-foot minimum ceiling from SkyTrak's planning page. Uneekor publishes its own minimum dimensions for the EYE XO2; use those figures rather than assuming the same room plan fits both systems.
Put simply: the floor unit fits the space you have, and the overhead system asks you to build a space around it. Memberships and Software Fit
Both makers reserve some software functionality for paid tiers, and they do it differently.
SkyTrak states that basic features are free but that many advanced tools, including Course Play and game-improvement features, require a paid SkyTrak Membership across Essential, Core, and Elite tiers. A 14-day trial membership is included. SkyTrak does not publish tier pricing on the product pages we checked, so budget for a recurring cost and confirm the current numbers before you buy.
Uneekor includes a base Player subscription at no charge and states that third-party simulation software requires a Pro subscription or higher. The AI Studio bundle adds a one-year AI Trainer subscription and a three-month Ultimate trial. Uneekor's accessible product-page text does not name individual third-party platforms, so confirm a required platform directly with Uneekor or an authorized dealer before ordering. The same caution applies on the SkyTrak side. Platform support lists move, and a discontinued unit is the worst place to assume future additions.
Which Build Are You Doing

These systems serve different room commitments and different depths of club data, and their current maker-displayed equipment prices differ by roughly $9,000 before installation. The better fit depends on the room, software requirements, and depth of club-delivery data you will use.
